Leadership Development Services

We offer a wide-variety of workshops, lectures, and consulting services to help school leaders, educators and student develop their leadership skills.

In the area of strategy and leadership development, clients typically work with us on the following areas:

Strategy & Planning

Articulating Your Mission and Vision Statements

Knowing where you’re going and how to get there are essential components of a well-designed strategic plan. To ensure clarity of purpose requires well-crafted mission and vision statements. By examining the relevance of your current mission and vision statements we can assist you in revising them as needed and lay the foundation for your strategic plan.

Determining Goals, Strategies, and Objectives

This on-going collaborative workshop will help your team determine targeted goals and outline specific strategies with clear objectives, while adhering to the guiding principles of your mission and vision statements. This workshop provides strategies for utilizing the skill-set of your educational community as well as other internal and external resources.

Planning For Action

Schools need high functioning teams that represent diverse backgrounds and thinking. Our consultants can review collected data specific to your school (e.g. test scores, graduation or promotion rates, teacher evaluations, etc.) and help you develop a tailored action plan with specific outcomes and interventions. We will identify current student achievement, goals for the future, a plan for achieving those goals, and a means for monitoring and evaluating their developed plan and established goals.

Systemic Change for Student Gains

Successful schools that purposefully reinvent themselves enhance the likelihood of sustainable initiatives that positively impact student achievement. Through collaborative discussion and activities, educators can understand their own readiness for change, as well as those of other stakeholders. They will also learn and understand what is needed to create better acceptance of change, and will develop action steps for smooth transitions.

Leadership Development

Creating High Functioning Teams

The old cliché “great minds think alike” couldn’t be more wrong. Today more than ever schools need high functioning teams that represent diverse backgrounds and thinking, teams that challenge the status quo. By dispelling old myths about collaborations and introducing a new paradigm to create result-orientated teams, we can help you transform your staff into a high-functioning team. We will use several assessment instruments to assist educators in determining the makeup of teams at their schools and provide tools for building high functioning teams that produce measurable and sustainable results.

Educational Leadership Inventory – 360° Leadership Assessment

The Educational Leadership Inventory (ELI) is a 360º multi-rater diagnostic feedback instrument assesses each leader’s transformational behavior. Participants will be evaluated by up to 20 of their peers, supervisors, and direct reports, and will receive an detailed report addressing their strengths and areas for improvement. Based upon gathered results, each participant will develop a personalized leadership development plan in collaboration with our team members. Learn more >>

Advancing the Ball: Entrepreneurial Leadership

School leaders must continually adapt to changes and challenge both themselves and their staff to raise student achievement. By constantly reflecting on current practices, the entrepreneurial leader is focused on creating opportunities for all students. We can help you developing a systematic and comprehensive approach to purposeful school change that permeates all levels of student performance.

iLead 21

iLead 21 is a three year, progressive leadership development program that focuses on 5 key leadership principles. Students form a company and progress through a series of leadership problem-based leadership development tasks.  As they earn tokens, they move up through 21 levels of the Leadership Development Ladder and refine the skills needed to lead themselves, and lead the world. iLeaders also join a closed networking site to collaborate virtually with leaders from other schools, and to interact with and learn from established leaders from diverse for- and non-profit industries.
