Michelle Weaver operates under the principle that true happiness is found not in what you get, but in what you give. After receiving her undergraduate degree in psychology and theatre at the Pennsylvania State University and her Master’s degree in psychology at New York University, she moved on to work as an advocate in the field of mental health, specializing in vocational training for adults with intellectual disabilities and transition-aged youth suffering from psychiatric disorders. A true believer in the importance of education for all, she initiated a supported education program in Arlington County’s Behavioral Healthcare Department to assist clients in navigating the post-high school educational system. In her spare time, Michelle volunteers with Wright to Read, a one-on-one sustained literacy tutoring and mentoring program for elementary school children in need. She began working for Edwards Educational Services, Inc. in November 2012 and is proud to be working for a company that actively meets the educational, social, and emotional needs of children and their schools worldwide.
